Thirty years pass in this story prior to chapter two. The protagonist, Aldos, valiantly defended the land against the malevolent dark elf mage, Darius, in the tranquil elf village. After triumphing, however, Aldos learned a startling truth: Kora, Darius’s daughter, genuinely desired retribution against him and his family. Aldos was instructed by the king to get rid of all Darius’s relatives. Aldos is a good man, but he was unable to harm Kora, the little child. So he decided to be generous and give her life. However, this choice set off a series of unfortunate events for Aldos.
